Privacy Policy

Effective: August 8, 2026 · Applies to the MoonStar Social website (social.moonstarfood.us) and the MoonStar Social mobile app.

MoonStar Food LLC ("we", "us") runs MoonStar Social — a community where creators post photos and videos with our Joyful & Lezzet products and earn rewards, and where customers can shop and send gift boxes. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain language on purpose.

What we collect

• Creators: when you apply we collect your name, phone number, email, city, social media handles, and approximate follower count. When you post, we store your photos, videos, and captions. We also keep records of your earnings, referred sales, and payouts.
• Gift senders: your name, phone, and (optionally) email, plus your recipient's name, phone, shipping address, and your gift message — so we can ship the box and deliver the message.
• Gift recipients: the name, phone, and shipping address provided by your gift sender or by you through your private claim link. If you become a creator, the creator items above apply.
• Discount-code requests: if you ask for a creator's discount code, we collect your phone or email only to send you the code. We do not show it to the creator and we don't use it for marketing lists.
• Everyone: basic technical data (device/browser type, pages viewed) and the cookies described below.

How we use it

• To run the platform: creator accounts, posting, the public feed, gift orders, shipping, and paying creators what they've earned.
• To send service messages by SMS or WhatsApp — login codes, gift claim links, order and earnings updates. You agree to these when you sign up or order; reply STOP to any text to opt out.
• To credit the right creator when a purchase comes through their link or discount code.
• To keep the platform safe (preventing fraud, duplicate accounts, and abuse).

We do not sell your personal information.

What's public

If you're a creator, your approved posts appear publicly on our feed and showcase together with your first name, city, and profile page, and may show totals like likes or earnings badges. Your phone, email, and address are never public. Gift thank-you photos/videos marked private are visible only to the person who sent the gift (and to us for support) — they never appear on the public feed unless the recipient chooses to share them.

Payments

All purchases are completed on our store, which is powered by Shopify. Card details are entered on Shopify's secure checkout — we never see or store your card numbers. Shopify sends us order confirmations (items, totals, and any creator code used) so we can credit creators and fulfill gift boxes. Creator payouts are made via Zelle, PayPal, cash, or similar — we store payout records, not your banking credentials.

Cookies & tracking

• Session cookies keep you signed in (up to 30 days).
• ms_dev (1 year): an anonymous device id so likes aren't counted twice. It doesn't identify you personally.
• ms_social_ref (90 days) and ref on our store (60 days): remember which creator referred you so they get credit if you buy. No discount or price change happens because of these.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel runs on our public pages to measure our advertising. See Meta's privacy policy for how Meta processes this data; you can limit ad tracking in your Facebook settings and your device settings.

The mobile app

• Camera, microphone & photo library: used only when you choose to take or upload a photo/video for a post. We never access them in the background.
• Push notifications: optional. If you allow them, we send updates like new-post activity or earnings news. Turn them off anytime in your device settings.

Who we share data with

Only service providers that make the platform work, and only what they need: Shopify (checkout & orders), Twilio (SMS/WhatsApp delivery), Meta (Pixel, as above), our web hosting provider, and shipping carriers (recipient name/address on gift boxes). We may disclose information if the law requires it. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

Account and earnings records are kept while your account is active and as needed for tax and accounting. Gift order details are kept as order history. You can ask us to delete data sooner (below).

Delete your account & your choices

• Creators can request account deletion any time from their dashboard ("Close my account") — we pay any balance owed, then remove the account. You can also request deletion by contacting us at info@moonstarfood.us.
• Reply STOP to any SMS to stop texts. Unsubscribe links are in our emails.
• You may request a copy or correction of your personal information by contacting us.

Children

MoonStar Social is not directed to children under 13, and creator accounts require you to be old enough to enter a payment arrangement (18+, or with a parent/guardian). Kids may appear in family gift videos shared by their parent or guardian, who controls whether that content is private or public.

MoonStar Food LLC has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The safety of children is a top priority for MoonStar Social, and this section is our published standard against child sexual abuse and exploitation, in line with Google Play's requirements and applicable law. What is strictly prohibited. The following are banned on MoonStar Social and will result in immediate removal and account termination:

• Any content, text, or link that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or abuses a minor (anyone under 18), including CSAM in any form.
• Grooming, enticement, sextortion, or any attempt to contact or solicit a minor for sexual purposes.
• Trafficking of, or the sexualized depiction of, minors.
• Any other content or behavior that exploits or endangers children.

How we prevent and respond. Every creator application is reviewed by a human before approval, and every post is reviewed and approved by our team before it appears anywhere on the platform. Content that violates this standard is removed and does not reach the public feed. We combine this human moderation with account controls to detect and stop abuse.

How to report a concern. If you see any content or behavior that may sexualize, exploit, or endanger a child, report it to us immediately at info@moonstarfood.us with the subject line "CHILD SAFETY", or message us on WhatsApp from any page of the site. Reports are treated as urgent and reviewed promptly. In the mobile app you can report any post or user, or contact us directly through the app.

Our action on violations. When we identify apparent CSAM or a credible child-safety threat, we (1) remove the content, (2) terminate the responsible account, (3) preserve relevant information as required, and (4) report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via its CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org) and/or to appropriate law enforcement, as required by U.S. law. We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.

Child-safety point of contact. Questions about this standard or CSAE/CSAM concerns can be sent to info@moonstarfood.us. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement (call 911 in the U.S.) right away. You can also report directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the site or by message.
